I grew up in the South, and it is still fascinating to me that everyone calls sodas “Coke” down there. Even if you want a root beer you call it a coke. I know the headquarters for Coca-Cola are in Atlanta which explains the obvious stranglehold their product has the southern states, but changing the lexicon is pretty ballsy.
