Last week, I found ’24’ to be surprisingly good. That is, I had expected it to be awful, and was pleasantly surprised to find it watchable. Now, we’re entering a time where the quality will need to step it up a bit to ensure the cliffhanger suspenses from week to week do not fall flat.
We’ve written A LOT about ’24’ over the last 3 years. Check it all out for the most recent episode posts and the oldies as well.
-Trying to eat while watching/typing. We’ll see how that goes. I always miss the time stamps, so call them out in the comments!
-Moss doesn’t realize that not letting the swat team shoot back is going to end badly.
-So we’re going to have some FBI at the house around 12:15ish.
-Larry Moss is going to cover for Renee.
-Billy Walsh is going to get into trouble with his wife asking so many questions.
-I’m unimpressed with the Prime Minister’s ninny wife.
-Saved by the phone.
-I’m thinking some of those @JackBauer fact tweets on Twitter are going to go apeshit over MacGyver this week.
-That was a big time jump.
-“The FBI will be here any minute”. Indeed.
-The safe room has cots but not gas masks? Weak.
-Junior Seau works for the FBI?
-“Shut up, or I will shut you up.” Has Jack Bauer said that in every season?
-Could use some extra commenters.
-Is the President’s husband and his shifty Secret Service agent the right team for this effort?
-“Presidents don’t make new friends. That’s why they lean on old friends.”
-There you go, President.
-Hello. “Reestablished our moral authority in the eyes of the world.” Is she following President Bush.
-I hate Ethan and the SecState.
-30 minutes before the deadline? Are they going to pushthat to next week?
-I knew Billy Wash was banging the blonde. (Updated: Down in the comments, the question came up about who plays the blonde FBI agent Erica. Looks like Billy Walsh’s/Rhys Coiro’s/Sean Hillinger’s office romance/affair is with Ever Carradine).
-D’oh. I titled this post episode 4. That was dumb.
-The Secret Service Agent is going to knock out the President’s hubby and leave him there.
-Bad Secret Service guy!
-This IS a broad conspiracy. Marshalls, Secret Services, Advisors.
-I hate to say it, but meh.
-How long can it possibly take that long to get to the abandoned construction yard?
-Is Billy Walsh playing both sides of the fence here? I sure hope so.
-I’m glad that the whisper is back.
-Jack Bauer shoots people in the neck. JBKC +1 to 8.
We have a couple cliffhangers for next week. Agent Walker, the President’s husband, Dubaku’s deadline, and to a lesser degree, bringing the PM to Dubaku. If this episode tells us anything about next week’s, we’re in trouble.
